About this Wine

3 by Attwoods Pinot Noir 2022

3 by Attwoods are a unique offering, a beguiling house style that drives delicious intrigue way above their grade. The Pinot Noir shows refined and compelling varietal expression in a strong structural style.

"Troy Walsh's eye for fruit and vision for winemaking has resulted in some of the most impressive (and under-the-radar) wines in Australia." Jane Lopes, How to Drink Australian

Reviews & Accolades

3 by Attwoods Pinot Noir 2022

"Interesting sort of wine here. It’s dusty, peppery, sort of amaro-laced with orange peel, and aromatic dried herbs. It’s a little bit mulchy and autumnal, with baked plum and dried strawberry flavours. Tannin has a positive impact, and the acidity is tangy and adds some energy to the wine. The finish is dry and dusty, with a sweet/sour/spicy character, along with some powdery grip of tannin. It’s a quirky example of Pinot Noir, and yet, I quite like it. Invariably, I like an interesting wine over something more prosaic, and this is certainly an interesting wine. I’ve used that word three (3) times, so it must be so." 91 Points, Gary Walsh, The Wine Front

"Take your pick of Attwoods' wines: the chardonnays and pinot noirs are all stunning, combining savoury flavours, filigreed structure and fruit expression to great effect. Winemaker Troy Walsh's eye for fruit and vision for winemaking has resulted in some of the most impressive (and under-the-radar) wines in Australia." Jane Lopes, How to Drink Australian
