Few stories can be told about modern Australian wine without mentioning the amazing rise of Margaret River, and Leeuwin Estate as a pioneer. Founded by Denis and Tricia Horgan in 1979, it is the star estate of Margaret River’s southern area; with a particular pedigree in its famed Chardonnay, but also relatively recent acclaim for Cabernet and Shiraz.

Press Review

    Leeuwin Siblings Shiraz 2021
Intense ruby red colour. Blood plum and rosemary aromas. Plush blue fruits, subtle spices and a hint of graphite minerality all adding character as it runs across the palate. Medium to full and there are enough drying tannins to freshen the finish.

    Leeuwin Siblings Shiraz  2021
While this has a core of ripe, sweet fruit, it’s very much a savoury wine. A hint of pepper and exotic spices with grainy yet persistent tannins flush across the fuller-bodied palate. There's cedary oak in the mix with a slight bitter green walnut note on the finish, so do order a juicy steak to assuage that.
