Winery Details

Since its first release in 1988, the name Parker Coonawarra has represented outstanding quality, longevity and elegance from the region. Based in the very southern end of the Terra Rossa strip, the wines have always embodied a fine, long-lived, classic style. The Hesketh family became the custodians of the vision for Parker in 2013, and have continued with these ideals. The wines offer an exceptional insight into why the Coonawarra region became famous for powerful yet delicious cabernet. This includes a Langton's classification for the flagship First Growth bottling.

Press Review

Parker Coonawarra Estate 95 Block 2020
Matured in 50% new French oak for 19 months. This stands like a bouncer at the door of a nightclub, all sinew and muscle and brawn, black t-shirt (or label) and all. It offers dense blackcurrant-driven fruit, big bones of tannin, rippled mouthfeel and complexity in the form of ash, woodsmoke and tobacco characters. It almost makes you want to squeeze the shoulder of the bottle, to see if you can feel its bulging fruit. One thing is for certain: this wine walks the talk, delivering the kind of rock-solid complexity, structure and fruit that will see it age (beautifully) over the long term.

Parker Estate 95 Block Cabernet Sauvignon Petit Verdot 2020

For anyone who thinks that Coonawarra is the home of elegance, check out this unique and punchy blend of of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Verdot that carries some serious levels of fruit. It immediately delivers robust aromas of blackberry and blackcurrant with touches of chocolate and ice with an earthy underbelly and sweet new oak. Firm and bold, 40 days on skins have drawn out some chewy tannins that help to support a long and dried herb scented finish. A very good effort that will age well.
