Seresin Sun & Moon Pinot Noir 6pk 2016 - Indent
*Available NSW*
Cinematographer Michael Seresin’s desire to create high quality wine in the most natural way possible led to the rise of Seresin Estate in the early 1990s – a wine estate that has ever since followed the principals of biodynamic and organic farming and winemaking. Allowing the wines a little extra time, not only adds savouriness, mouth-watering textures and flavours, but also shows the unique sense of place the wines come from.
Seresin Sun & Moon Pinot Noir 2016
Developing, complex, harmonious and enticing bouquet. Perfumed and complete with scents of old roses and truffles, purple berries a deeply complex mineral core leads to flavours on the palate of soft dark cherry and fleshy Doris plums, mushroom or truffle with a mineral earthy core. Fine tannins layer in a chalky texture and with acidity deliver a velvet structure and power. No mistaking the pinosity, charm and elegance of this wine. Excellent drinking from day of purchase and through 2026+.'

Seresin Sun & Moon Pinot Noir 2016
The 2016 Sun and Moon Pinot Noir is a savory, earthy
affair, with forest undergrowth, fresh leather, pomegranate
molasses and black cherry. In the mouth, it leads with
enoki mushroom, hints of red miso, black peppercorns,
tobacco and bay leaf. Sandalwood or myrrh eddy about in
the background. This is a wonderful wine with firm tannins
that convey elegance rather than brawn. It's the sapid and
quenching mid-palate that really gets me. 13.5% alcohol,
sealed under screw cap.

Seresin Sun & Moon Pinot Noir 2016
Certified organic, the memorable 2016 vintage (5*) was estate-grown and hand-harvested in the Raupo Creek Vineyard, in the Omaka Valley, fermented with indigenous yeasts, matured for 18 months in French oak barriques, and bottled unfined and unfiltered. A wine with a strong sense of ‘soul’, it has deep, bright, youthful colour. Full-bodied, it is very savoury, with dense cherry, plum, spice and nut flavours and a powerful, harmonious, lingering finish. A wine to ponder over.’ Rating: 5 stars Source: Michael Cooper
