Fesq & Company is an independent Australian distributor of premium wines, spirits and drinks, built on nearly two centuries of bringing exceptional producers to the Australian market.Our story began in 1848, when George Fesq arrived in Sydney with 27 barrels of wine from Bordeaux. Tasked with selling wine from port to port, he recognised the opportunity in Sydney and chose to stay, writing home to request more stock as demand grew. From that first shipment, a merchant business was born.

More than 175 years later, the same founding principle remains: sourcing outstanding beverages from around the world and connecting them with the right customers across Australia.Over six generations, the business has remained family owned and independent, specialising in wholesale distribution and premium brand building.

Today it is led by the sixth generation of the Fesq family, continuing a long-term, partnership-driven approach.We now work nationally across hospitality and retail, with experienced sales and marketing teams in each major city.

Our expertise spans portfolio curation, brand management, trade activation and communications, all focused on building sustainable brands in the Australian market.We partner with wineries, distilleries, venues and retailers who share our commitment to quality, integrity and long-term success, and we take pride in growing brands thoughtfully, responsibly and profitably.

We have always been based in Sydney. Starting near Circular Quay and the Rocks and then into southern Sydney. We currently work out of the famed Waterview Wharf buildings in Balmain, and use warehousing and logistics partners in every state in Australia.
