Bella Modella Pinot Grigio  2024
"The fruit for this bright Pinot Grigio comes from the clay soils of the Terre di Chieti in Abruzzo, where the vineyards are situated on the slopes of the Maiella massif. The grapes undergo a cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The aim of this producer is to provide modern wines, which are both good value and full of flavour.
Shining pale lemon in colour, this is a pleasing version of Pinot Grigio. The nose reveals notes of stonefruits, dried herbs, green apples, citrus, a hint of passionfruit, peaches and a touch of sour lemon on the finish. A wine of medium length and bright acidity, which is quite tight on the finish, and which lingers attractively. Enjoy over the next two to three years." 90 Points, Ken Gargett, WinePilot.com

The butterfly labels of the Bella Modella wines are a homage to all that is beautifully formed in nature. These aromatic and value-driven wines include a Prosecco Spumante Brut, which comes from the low-yielding hillsides of the Prosecco DOC in northeast Italy. The Pinot Grigio comes from Terre di Chieti in Abruzzo, where the vineyards are situated on the slopes of the Maiella massif. The newest addition Sangiovese hails from the warm region of Puglia.
