Billy Button Rosso 2023
"Previous releases of Billy Button’s Rosso have been a blend of Shiraz, Tempranillo and Refosco, from the Alpine and King valleys, and I’d imagine that this is along similar lines. Straight down the hatch with this one. This is well made, well flavoured and well priced. It tastes of an assortment of ripe berries and twiggy herb characters, it feels soft in the mouth, and it’s tidied up nicely by grapey tannin. It’s an easy wine to like, and an easy wine to drink." Billy Button Rosso 2022
GOLD | 2023 North East Victorian Wine Challenge
"This year’s Billy Button Rosso is a blend of Shiraz, Tempranillo and Refosco, from the Alpine and King valleys.
The enjoyment factor is high here. It offers a ball of ripe fruit flavour but then it edges it all with a hedge of herbs, spices and smokes. The dining table beckons. Red and blue berries, oregano, mint, crushed fennel, you get the drift. Grapey tannin. Such fun, as they say." 91 Points, Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front
