Bream Creek Cuvée Traditionelle 2021
"A sparkling blend of 62/38% chardonnay/pinot noir; disgorged October '24 after tirage December '21. Pale straw with an energetic bead and mousse. Notes of green apple, lemon and white peach along with hints of wildflowers, grilled hazelnut, crème fraîche, sea spray, lemon curd and a wisp of toasted brioche. Some nice lemon slice notes on the palate with a saline acid drive and daubs of cream and soft spice on the exit. Finishes dry and refreshing." 92 Points, Dave Brookes, Halliday Wine Companion
'Pinot Noir Producer of the Year' 2022, Bream Creek has long been considered one of the very best sites and vineyards in Eastern Tasmania.
The Bream Creek vineyard was planted in 1974 by Fred Peacock. One of the first commercial vineyards established in the Apple Isle state, it has long been considered one of the very best sites in Eastern Tasmania. Fred's premium cool-climate wines are concentrated and long, thanks to the mature vines and low yields.
