The Bream Creek vineyard was planted in 1974 by Fred Peacock. One of the first commercial vineyards established in the Apple Isle state, it has long been considered one of the very best sites in Eastern Tasmania. Fred's premium cool-climate wines are concentrated and long, thanks to the mature vines and low yields.

     Bream Creek Late Picked 2023
A late-picked schönburger, being a Germanic variety developed at Geisenheim that is a cross of pinot noir and pirovanio 1 (a cross itself). You don't see much of it about. A bit in England and its homeland and, of course, here in Tassie! And it's delicious. A riot of floral, tropical and citrus tones with an unctuous yet crisply driven form. Great stuff, if you are after a lighter style of dessert wine.
