"The vineyard at Bream Creek was planted in the early 1970s, making it among the earliest commercial vineyards in Tasmania.
Medium to deep ruby, a touch of purple still showing in the light. Cherry cola, rosemary and wakame aromas. Deep and powerful dark berry fruits fill the senses. There’s ample concentration here with deeper layers of dark spice and undergrowth waiting in the wings to build over time. Tannins work at the edges, controlling the density of fruit, and it all runs incredibly long and deep. Time will see further character develop." 96 Points ★★★★★, Stuart Knox, The Real Review
"Bright ruby with enticing aromas of dark cherry, wild strawberry and raspberry cut with hints of fine spice, a touch of gingerbread, forest floor notes, dried meats, mushroom broth, rhubarb, gentle herb and softly spoken oak notes. Pure fruit and some nice focus on the palate, the wine coiling, focusing, before releasing with a minerally tension, a savoury swoop of cherry and spice on the exit." 93 Points, Dave Brookes, Halliday Wine Companion
'Pinot Noir Producer of the Year' 2022, Bream Creek has long been considered one of the very best sites and vineyards in Eastern Tasmania.
The Bream Creek vineyard was planted in 1974 by Fred Peacock. One of the first commercial vineyards established in the Apple Isle state, it has long been considered one of the very best sites in Eastern Tasmania. Fred's premium cool-climate wines are concentrated and long, thanks to the mature vines and low yields.
