"Conti Sani has extensive vineyard resources throughout a number of Italian regions and is intimately familiar with producing quality Chianti. The majority of the grapes used here are Sangiovese, but small percentages of Canaiolo Nero can be included. The colour is a vibrant blood red with a crimson edge. On the nose we have notes of salami and mushrooms, delicatessen meats, aniseed, chocolate and cherries. Softly textured and of medium length, there are some sappy notes here on the finish.
