Reviews & Accolades

    Coriole Rosé 2024
"90/10% mataro/sangiovese raised in tank (75%) and old oak (25%). A peachy rose gold in the glass, this has quite a degree of sophistication, skipping overtly fruity notes without losing any immediate appeal. Blood orange, mandarin oil, peach iced tea, wild red berries, a dusting of cinnamon and sumac, none of it shouting for attention, backed up by a harmonious twinning of texture and sapid drive. Very nice indeed." 93 Points, Special Value, Marcus Ellis, Halliday Wine Companion

"Says on the back label that this is all Mataro, and I do appreciate the use of the local name for Mourvèdre. Red cherry, tangerine with some peel, some aniseed, peach and peanuts. It’s balanced, moves more towards tangerine and blood orange, has bright acidity, a fine dusty grip to texture, pulls gently earthy and nutty on a crisp finish of excellent length. Very good. Nicely done." 92 Points, Gary Walsh, The Wine Front
