Domaine de Cala Classic Rosé 2024

"There is a reason that Provencal Rose is loved around the world and that is all encompassed in this wine. This particular example comes from the hills of the Côteaux Varois en Provence. The property has been organically farmed since 2022. The blend is 56% Cinsault, 41% Grenache and   3% Syrah. Fermentation and maturation is in stainless steel tanks to ensure the wine is as fresh as possible.
The colour is the palest of orange pink hues, rather like the last moments of a watery sunset. On the nose, there is a swirl of aromas including florals, rose petals, strawberries and tomato bushes, all with the support from a minerally backing. Good focus, the wine is softly textured and well balanced. An elegant style, chill and enjoy it during summer over the next two to three years." 92 Points, Ken Gargett, WinePilot.com
