Domaine de la Vieille Julienne Ceci est un flacon de Vin de France 2022

"2022 Ceci est un flacon de Vin de France "Crafted from vines planted in the Clavin, Maucoil and on the east of the estate, the 2022 Ceci est un flacon de Vin de France is a new addition to Daumen’s lineup. A blend of 65% Grenache and mix-planted Syrah, Counoise, Cinsault, Carignan and Mourvèdre, it evokes a gourmand bouquet of flowers, dark cherries, rose and spices, followed by a moderately weighted, juicy and round palate with delicate tannins, a juicy core of fruit and a mouthwatering, penetrating finish. This delicate, straightforward Vin de France was made with semi-carbonic maceration and whole bunches (only with Syrah) and matured for one year in older foudres." 89 Points, Yohan Castaing, The Wine Advocate

"The inaugural 2022 Cecu est un Flacon de Vine de France is a pretty young thing. Red-fruit-driven with spicy undertones, the 2022 is a juicy red-medium-bodied at most and remarkably light on its feet. It closes with excellent freshness on the lively finish." 88 Points, Vinous

"A new wine based largely on Grenache from vines just beside the lieu-dit Clavin brought up in foudre, the 2022 Ceci est un flacon de Vin de France has a pretty , perfumed, medium-bodied, lighter style as well as a perfumed nose of wild strawberries, framboise, spring flowers, licorice and pepper. This total charmer will best many a Pinot Noir and will evolve for 4-5 years or more." 88 Points, Jeb Dunnuck
