Félicette Grenache Rouge 2023

"Lots of juicy red fruits, almost pastille-like in sweetness, but there’s also a ferrous thing happening, dried herbs and a kind of marmite umami thing too. It’s sweetly red fruited, and again the savoury dried herb and black olive, with some bright blood orange acidity, and a sappy and lively finish of good length. Nice wine here. I’m thinking a gentle chill with something from the BBQ to match. It tastes regional and the winemaking does not muck it up." 90 Points, Gary Walsh, The Wine Front 

The Félicette wines originate from the Languedoc-Roussillon region in the south of France, along its southern-most coastline of the Mediterranean. Coming from vineyards between Narbonne and Béziers, these small batch wines undergo gentle ferments. All the wines are exceptionally balanced, drinkable and fresh.
