"A blend of several parcels coming from the Chassagne side of Santenay. 25%  new oak.
White nectarine, honey, mint and white flowers, a little spice. It’s gently nutty with a sort of brittle toffee richness, white peach, a citrus cut lends freshness, acidity is bright and juicy, and the finish is fine and long with some lemon peel to close. Jane Eyre is an Australian micro-négociant who has been living and working in Beaune for more than 20 years. She made a distinct mark in Burgundy in 2021 when she was awarded a coveted Négociant of the Year award for her label of distinguished wines with a focus on Pinot Noir. Jane also returns to Australia each year to make a line of terroir-driven Pinot Noir bottlings from exceptional sites in Victoria and Tasmania. There is a lightness of touch thread to her wines from both continents that attracts a strong following.
