Winery Details

Colleen and Nicholas Harbour did not inherit their great, great grandfather’s wine Domaine, but rather pushed everything they studied and worked for to the side to pursue their dream of producing pure, terroir-driven wines in Burgundy. Having secured some superb parcels in the Côte d’Or, the husband and wife team has been producing wines of highest quality and finesse in their tiny cellar in Savigny-lès-Beaune, bringing the spirit of love for the wines and the area alive. I’m not an apologist for the rapidly escalating price of white Burgundy; it’s just the way it is. Small supply + demand = $$$.
Also, while you can buy Australian Chardonnay that’s just as good, in terms of quality, it’s not the same thing. Burgundy tastes and feels different. Importer: Fesq
Jersey caramel, sea spray, peppermint tea and white flowers, toasted hazelnut. A smooth opulent ride of white velvet, very fine acidity cuts through the gloss, with a fine saline finish of excellent length. Deluxe feel, and a wine that demands contemplation. Oxidative, yet beautiful and still fresh. Salted pistachio on the finish provides a satisfying denouement. Touch and go for 97 points really.
