Mandala is the vision of the Smedley family of Melbourne. An estate vineyard in Yarra Junction was planted in 1999, with additional vineyards following in Dixons Creek. Specialising in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, Mandala wines are high quality, elegant and exceptional value.

Mandala Compass Chardonnay 2022
From a single vineyard in Dixons Creek, matured for nine months in French oak (40% new). Brightly coloured, this is immediately appealing and perfumed with aromas of ripe apricots, honeysuckle and just a whiff of fresh vanilla bean from the oak, which is already nicely integrated. There's good volume and vibrancy on the palate, a fine vein of acidity running through the wine before finishing chalky and long.
