Sa'etta means 'lovestruck' or ' thunderbolt to the heart' and is the name of the single vineyard of Monte Bernardi with an optimal south-facing exposition and the special Pietraforte (local sandstone) soils.

"Cherry, blackberry, a little liquorice, some floral notes, a distinct hazelnut oak character too. It’s medium bodied, cherry and new leather, praline, dried herbs, balanced acidity, tannin is supple and fine-grained though they still make themselves known, and the finish offers good length with a dusty tannin grip. There’s a softness and something of a plump feel to it, and also a slight gaminess and earthiness, but gee, it’s an unforced and stylish wine all up." 92 Points Gary Walsh Wine Front

Monte Bernardi is a family-owned estate based in the historic Chianti Classico region, with a biodynamic farm and vineyard in Panzano, one of the “grand cru” zones of Chianti.
