"This is made up of estate fruit and four other sites, with 10–15% new oak for maturation. This is a reliably consistent label for quality, style and value. It’s more medium weighted, the variation in sites allowing for intensity and elegance. Quite ferrous, sweet fruited – black berries, dark plum – but earthy, spicy, with scrubland notes and anise.
