"Beautiful, rosy and red fruited perfume with requisite spice. Appealing there. Quite chunky and warm for this release. Dark cherry, cola, raspberry, dried herbs, some game meat and toffee with some chocolate dust in the mix. Also, potent and generous, a little breathy. Concentration is impressive, tannins a touch extra silty and drying. A bit of booze soaked fruit character here too. Thistledown wines are made in small quantities in the Adelaide Hills.
