20% whole bunches; bottled unfined and unfiltered. A bright, medium ruby red. Perfumed and redolent of strawberries, raspberries, flowers and gentle spice. It's equally impressive on the well-delineated, nicely concentrated and suave palate. The quantity and quality of the tannins are spot on too.

Thousand Candles Gathering Field Pinot Noir 2021

There’s a whole lot of character on offer here. It’s matched to a perfect weave of tannin, and to an elegant run of fruit, all of which means that we have a very good wine on our hands. It tastes of red and black cherries, almost into boysenberry, though there are also undergrowth, violet and twiggy spice notes humming throughout. It’s tuneful. The pitch is right. It’s lovely.
