Thousand Candles Gathering Field  Pinot Noir/Shiraz 2021

"Similar flavour profile to the “Nouveau” of the same vintage, but with a little more punch. 55% Pinot Noir. Good wine. Interest and drinkability, nailed. A core of sweet red/black cherry comes draped in twiggy spice, garden herbs and mint. No sign of oak, in flavour terms, though there’s a touch of velvet to the texture. "A 60/40% blend of pinot noir/shiraz with 30% whole bunches. Bright crimson. There's a little reduction that soon blows off, revealing aromas of red and black fruits, rose petals, herbs and spice.
